Default Mud Flaps

Hi,

i have the Classic mud flaps and dont like the look. Too big.

I know that there are holes drilled to mount them. Does anybody know if the standard mud flaps have the same mounting holes as the classic?

Considering swapping the classic with the standard...

Thanks!

Can you post a pic of your defender? I was going to go with classic myself. Do you not like the look at all angles?

I just think it looks too "farmy". I like the cleaner look more.

yes...holes are the same. My classics will be installed in a couple of weeks. I like the classic defender look.

Agree with you. The classics look gangly and just out of place on this car. Body design is just too modern for these. Plus, they will get destroyed in anything off road. Car looks better without anything, but my lower panel right in front of the rear wheel is getting chewed up like cheese, so I’m giving in and going with the standard flaps which at least don’t make it look like a tractor.

Even the standard flaps are ugly as hell

I tend to agree, but look at the plastic panels in front of the rear wheels after a couple of thousand miles and you’ll see why you need something.

I'm for function vs form. It did its job and liked it better than the skinny one..
