Default My 2023 P300 S has a steel bumper.

Just went through the process of adding recovery eyes, and found my model was quite different than the P300 S in the PowerfulUK videos. One notable change was the bumper appears to be steel rather than the aluminum one I have seen a few photos of. Just thought it was an interesting find that I would bring up here, not sure if it's region or model specific.

The US spec hitch receiver is steel. PowerfulUK does not have a US hitch receiver

Ah that is the answer. I didn't even think about the tow receiver being the modifier but that makes the most sense.

Your rig looks awesome and exactly like mine minus the mud flaps.

How difficult a DIY was this? I really want to do it.

THanks

Easy peasy. I took out all the screws as mapped out in the PowerfulUK video. But instead of removing the whole bumper I put a laundry basket upside down, covered it with a towel and flipped the bumper down on top of it. No cables were strained and it saved me a couple steps.

Thanks! I adore the car and really enjoy the new tow eyes. And yes it is not too bad and the mud flaps only add work to the job. Similar to FLwolverine I used a bucket on wheels to save a few connections and support the bumper. You should go for it!
