Hey Everyone,

New member and new to JLR family here! I’m excited to be a part of the family. Previous owner of Mercedes, Lexus and BMW. First time I saw the defender20, I was absolutely in love! However, won’t lie I think this is the first time owning a car where almost every week something happens to the infotainment system ... Despite the issues, I still enjoy driving it and love the amount of head turners.

Here are some before and after shots. Had the wrap done in November. I decided to quickly show my colour theme because I just noticed the new V8 2022 has a option almost the exact colour as mine called Satin Wrap Carpathian Grey. Now people will start thinking I’m just copying the look of the V8...

Warning* Colour theme might not be for everyone’s taste but I love it! More future mods coming soon.

Is that just a satin wrap on top of the black that made it look grey?

Nice choice on the caliper color. A little different than the red/orange I see a lot. What kind of paint did you use?

Here are the details for everyone PMing me.

Model: HSE 2020
Wrap: satin dark grey wrap
Calipers: powder coated gold (not sure about colour code)
Painted bumpers and wheels in gloss black.

That’s about it. The new V8 defender seems to have the same colour option too. Been almost a year owning my defender and have to say.. still LOVE IT! I have not had any issues at all aside from every now and then with glitches on the infotainment system.
