Default New 2022 Defender - default PIN?

Is there a default factory master PIN? I've gone into the system setting to change the master PIN, but it wants the default.

Sales guy said "read the manual". I didn't see anything in the iGuide.

Any ideas?

Dan

The master pin is used for the activation of valet mode, or to unlock valet mode when a temporary pin has been forgotten.

I have this really vague recollection it is one of the following 1212 or 2121 or 1926
if you get it wrong three times, it locks you out for a couple of minutes.

The dealer should have it.

I'm writing that down! I didn't think there was a Master. Thanks for sharing @BigDanSRQ and @TheMoke .

I'm convinced that a lot of Sales Consultants are pretty poor at Customer Sale beyond immediate transactions. I'm sure that's an impolite generalization, but it is my personal experience. Everything I see on-line shows me that there's an incredible amount of information that they have available (that we don't) that explains a lot more. Starting with the JLR-The Source (aka, the Briefcase) app. Unfortunately, without a Dealer ID/Training PIN, no go. Guess they don't want to use the info as a marketing/consumer education tool!
