Default New Defender on the Mojave trail

Took the new defender on the Mojave Road trail with less than 2000 miles. Got her dirty! She did very well on all sections and soaks up the washboard. I did blow a tire and don't recommend the 'stock' offroad tires. I was planning to upgrade soon anyway.

What brand of tent do you use and how long does that take to setup?

I think you are the first one I’ve see here that actually has it out on the trails and not posed for Instagram. Looks like a ton of fun. Like the steelies the best.

This is great stuff! Makes me really happy to see Defenders out in the wild. I'm heading to the Black Hills of South Dakota this weekend and hope for get a couple of action shots.

I love the tent canopy combo. That's what I plan on doing. What brand of each did you go with and can you tell us about the set up if the gold defender? I see the rooftop tent but what's that contraption under it? Is that part of it or separate?

Default Roof top tent

My side business is Overland Pros and we make roof top tents and awnings. Of course, we think ours are the best but we use and abuse them constantly. Check us out and I can give a discount to forum members. We have new fully freestanding awnings that are awesome. We left both model Wraptor 4k and Wraptor 6k up in the wind and they held up great! Another LR3 had an ARB and it was destroyed. We are located in Sacramento.
