I took a road trip from Napa, CA to Roseburg Oregon and only stopped once, after 4 hours. Most comfortable long distance driver I’ve had.

Is the original dealership you got it from the closest to you? Otherwise you can take it anywhere there’s a JLR one.

I have an appointment with my local dealer. It's still covered under warranty.

Just an update. Truck has been at the dealer for 2 days now. This looks like it might be harder to fix than anyone thought. The latest thing the advisor says is they have messaged Land Rover in UK for information regarding this issue. My thought is they could be so busy there making excuses for person who works on these issues to become available. I do have a loaner though.

Have they offered you a new one yet? Might be the way to go anyway if you really wanted adaptive.

Ha ha! I’m sure they’d love me to buy a new one. Don’t worry I will get acc turned on.

Congrats on new ride…and I’m happy to see yours has the tow hitch. I have heard of buyers finding their perfect used defender only to realize after they get home that there is no tow hitch installed (optional). And it is a PITA and $$$ to install afterwards. Congrats again!

New member, picking up a new to me MY20 110X santori black/ ebony, 6011 wheels, no towing but I dont tow anything. looking at installing the hitch for bike racks etc. last rover was a 2002 range rover 4.6 hse in Buckingham blue. that was a long time ago lol. Stepped away from a BMW M4CS to do more adventurous things. Ill post pics when I get back from my road trip and get it washed up. I wanted to do 275/60 wildpeaks AT$ but I think Im gonna do 275/55 and not have anything to worry about.

PJAZZ welcome to the center of defender knowledge. If towing is a priority check out the Cruisemaster (the Australians are really serious about towing) videos on youtube.

If you don't have ACC, you could use the GAP IID tool G4 version to enable it.
