New Grenadier
I drove a Grenadier a few months after they went on sale. A friend I play tennis with bought one to replace his L663 Defender. He had the Ineos for two weeks before trading it in on another L663. I drove it before he sold it and I have to say it’s objectively the worst modern vehicle I’ve driven. So bloody awful, and I’ve explained why in so many forum posts I’m not saying it again.
i wanted to like the Grenadier because I like what it stands for, but it’s a bloody awful vehicle and I hate it. An old Defender or old Land Cruiser is genuinely a better car to drive and live with on a daily basis.
It’s that bad, and I hate it.

Mate I think on behalf of everybody here we would like you to stop posting in the L663 forum. You haven’t said a single positive or useful thing and its just getting frustrating.
Love the color. Love the portals. I have the distinct impression that this is what the Grenadier should have been released as at its current price.
However portals add a level of additional maintenance that the casual daily driven vehicle isn't in need of.

Honestly I have driven a Ineos I and I liked it. I have an OG Defender, have driven I think about every different choice there is of the new defender. I think the Ineos is fantastic and has its place. You can’t compare the new defender and Ineos they compete in the same catergory sure but they are two very different directions to fill it.
I feel like it’s where the OG Defender would have ended up if it had continued on solid axles.
