Default New Member - 2020 Defender X

Picked up my Defender a couple weeks ago. Came with Satin black wrap, upgraded taillights, project kahn exhaust and lift.. added the side ladder couple days ago. Coming from an alfa Romeo Giulia quadrifoglio - yes quite the change! I've owned a couple land rovers in the past, and now I'm back. Looking forward to our first camping trip in a couple weeks. We live in Arizona and headed to the white mountains. Car has everything I need and love the spec. Looking at wanting to change wheels at some point.

Only issue I've seen so far is the keyless entry works less than half the time. I replaced key fob battery and that didn't work. The range is also very weak. I did some reading online and saw a bulletin about this issue. Thinking I'm going to make a stop at our local scottsdale Land Rover. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, keyless entry didn’t work for mine either - a 2021. There was a bulletin for it - I can’t remember what the part was called - but it fixed the issue when the dealer replaced it.

also. Congrats!

I too am a Guilia Quad owner that has been looking for a preowned 90 for about six months now. I know the perfect one will be ready for me soon.
Congrats on the purchase.

Default 2020 Defender X Keyless Entry

I just picked up a lightly used 2020 X and my keyless entry is having same struggles. I changed the key fob battery as well. Weirdly, the Keyless entry works fairly well on passenger side but drivers side it hardly ever works.

Do you (or anyone else) happen to have the TSB number associated with this? My keyless entry has only worked maybe 20% of the time since I took delivery of my car back in 2021.
