Default New member with new build order 110 base

Last week, I was able to order for MSRP with a 6 month delivery time.
My car situation is a bit different than most of yours as this car will be left at our cabin in a Idaho ski town. It will primarily sit in our garage and used for fly fishing on rough mountain roads, driving to and from the ski area and going out to dinner. I can't imagine that the car will get over 3000 miles a year put on it.
I have two 2017 Land Cruisers, but am selling one and the other will be used as my work car also our commute car from Seattle to Sun Valley (10 hours/600 miles). My wife has a 2022 Porsche Mycan S and I also have a '95 Porsche 993/911 (garage queen).
Our temps in the winer are mostly 10*-20*+- typically so I ordered the cold weather package. I got the off-road package for snowy roads as well as the washed out mountain logging roads in the summer. The tow hitch for my little river drift row boat. I got white because it was a traditional LR color, and it was free! I didn't get the sunroof because it adds unnecessary weight for my use and 4cyl engine probably likes a lighter weight car. I didn't want leather because we wear a lot of wet snowy ski clothes and wet fishing waders, not to mention my 2 dogs!
Anyway I thought this would be more fun than a 4 runner. Here is a link to my build.... https://build.landrover/D43D2A5D

Strong build. I have the 4cyl and cant imagine picking the 6 over it. the 4 is plenty powerful and can tow nearly 8000lbs. I would consider adding the towing pack as it isnt much more than what you've already selected and adds in ATPC.

Nice! Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. One thing to keep in mind with base vs S is no rear seat armrest. Also vehicle entry is slightly higher with coils and it's already high with air IMO so if you have shorter or older folks it could be a stretch for them.

Very nice build! My parents live up in Sandpoint so you've got me dreaming of the day I can spend most of my time in the Idaho mountains!

One suggestion: consider the cross car beam powder coated white option. It is purely aesthetic but I have an almost identical build, albeit an S, and the white on that beam and the respective trim pieces really ties everything together.

Perfect build. I also commend you for driving to Sun Valley. That is such a long trip from Seattle; I used to cover ID. I would fly into Boise and drive to Sun Valley.

Your dealer give you a build/delivery date? I've been in the "holding pool" from cooperate for almost 2 months now. Wondering if it's a dealership thing?

All they told me is that they had some slots available, it would be 6 months and to pay the deposit!

As a data point, I have a defender that just went into build, 10/8/21. I knew the lock and build dates two months ago when I placed my order.

I was just told my base Defender was built 10/7 - about 3 weeks ahead of schedule (although originally scheduled to be built 7/15).

Should be here late November / early December
