Default New member and New owner of a 2023 Defender 90 v8.

Bought my first Land Rover product this week.
I am selling my 2dr Bronco Badlands and replacing it with a new 2023 2dr Land Rover Defender 90 V8.

Looking forward to chatting with you guys about various topics like wheels and tires, and other modifications.

I am KS, and the Defender I bought is at LR dealer in Florida. I don't even have it home yet, still waiting on the transport to pick it up and haul it up here to me.
Thought I would join the Forum and start getting a head start on learning about the Defenders.

Here is few pics of my 90.

Thanks everyone!

Love cars and love even more Trucks and SUVs , really looking forward to trying a Land Rover product.
My sister and brother in law have owned several Range Rover / Land Rover products.
I have owned several Jeeps , 200 Land Cruiser's and LX570s, Tahoe’s , Suburbans, Excursions.
I also Recently sold my Ram TRX.

This is my first British car.

I loved the size and look of my Bronco.
I loved the supercharged v8 in my old TRX.

I stumbled across the existence of this 2 door Land Rover V8 Defender, and really got my wheels turning so speak.
I could have the size and nimbleness of my Bronco , and have the super charged V8 performance and sound of the TRX all wrapped up into one really slick looking Defender V8.
The Defender V8 also has all the tech and luxury of the TRX.

My Defender 90 P525 got delivered today.
I am still learning how to work everything.
Took it for about a 30 min spin , played around with the setting.
‘It’s definitely a lot quieter then I was expecting it to be.
Sounds pretty good in dynamic mode.
‘Time to start my build. Nothing tooo crazy, wheels tires, steering wheel, some protection upgrades , like mud flaps, ppl , window tint. Etc.

Need to try and figure out if there is any plug and play aftermarket devices to shut off that dumb start stop crap. lol

Overall pretty happy with it, a few things to get use too, like that hump in floor, that’s right where I tend to put my left foot.

Fresh off the transport from the River dealer in Florida. Made it here to Kansas in under 24 hours.

Setting out side programming everything , garage door and security gate home link remotes, phone etc, etc.

Can’t wait to get my 20” wheels tires in .

Get a Gap Tool or reach out to @GarrettSD to disable auto start/stop.
