Really loved the look of it. Speced out an autobiography edition with the standard wheelbase and starts at around 150K. Solid.

The front is tired. Hoped for more (or at least some) of a refresh.

The profile looks good but also a little too-same.

The tail. I'll give it a minute. It probably looks better in person.

Every previous FFRR generation change was such a huge design leap from the previous one.

This one is not.

It's nice enough, but seems more like a mid cycle refresh than a new generation.

Certainly not exciting enough for me to consider moving from my current DV8 order to one.

Side note, that reveal was embarrassing. Get presenters who can speak correctly and eloquently about your product.
Second side note, ill fitting suits and white sneakers isn't what 'the young kids look for' as speculated in your marketing meeting.

"Why is this posted in the "2020 Defender" forum?"

Do you want to speak to the manager?

A fair question.

Many active on the new Defender forum own mutiple JLR products and I have come to appreciate their insights regarding how JLR is evolving the brand.

I enjoy learning from them and appreciate their eye for the products and their sense of humor.

I figured some might like to see what was launched today.

Best to you. Enjoy !

Unlike the smarta** and sarcastic response from nerve64, which is their simple minded way of suggesting there is no value of forums being forums in the first place, your response to my question at least explains your rationale. Thank you. I suspect that the JLR lovers among us are all well aware of the new RR launch today. It is everywhere and I, too, watched it live. Coincidentally, there are forums here for this very topic. Go figure, nerve64. I also suspect most users here know how to visit other forums, besides this one, and probably frequent them. I concede your point that perhaps there is someone out there who only reads this particular forum and otherwise would have no idea a new model was launched today if it weren't for your contribution here. I'm sure they are very grateful. I honestly had no idea what the new RR launch today has to do w/ the Defender and thought maybe I missed your point in mentioning here. Now I know. Best to you as well. Enjoy!
