NEW Range Rover Global Unveil is Now

Looks beautiful! I think they did enough change to get owners to upgrade to the new version but not so much it loses the look of a Range Rover. Plus the interior looks very sleek. The door handles worry me though, I get it helps w the lines of the car but anyone else worry the handle will malfunction and before you know it you’re getting in from the passenger side?

Similar feel to Count above. I wonder when the RRS will be refreshed? It's due soon right?
One quick question, when I do a simple Google search for RR specs I notice that the base length (197") is the same as the LR Defender. Is that correct? I always envision RRs as longer, and not only the longer-wheelbase versions.

The spare tire hanging on the Defender's rear door makes the overall length deceptively long on paper.

The Sport is the only Range Rover model that doesn't have them now, so I bet they will be part of that redesign. I don't see them happening on the Defender, that's for sure. There, we are back on topic.

LOL, new to the concept of fora?
1) this is far from the most off-topic thread we have around here
2) many people who own a Defender have no real knowledge of other LR products, particularly me. I was unaware of this new launch and wouldn't bother to hang out at the appropriate forum for a product I didn't know was being launched just in case today was the day it was in fact being launched. As Trio explained, perhaps there are people mildly interested (like me) in the subject of Range Rovers but who don't follow it closely enough to know about new models. In this case, the sum total of my knowledge of this new RR model comes courtesy of this thread.
3) It's very easy to skip over threads that don't pique your particular interest -- you just... well, skip over them.
Cheers!
