Yes it a bit tricky. especially 2 front bolts but just be careful. i f you feel resistance stop and go back and try again. i had the issue with only 1 bolt (turned stripped) but thanks for the forum solved that problem

Someone on the FB group complained of the rack fading as well as increased wind noise over the stock rack. Any thoughts?

BTW has LR fixed the earlier issue of the rails being hard to remove? It looks like the factory roof rails have to be removed for this rack to work but I don’t want to walk into the earlier problem of the roof rails bolts becoming stripped. Does anyone know if LR is putting less locktite on the rails. I have a 23.5 Defender 110
I had a problem only with one bolt after the extended search I realized they you have to be very careful and I’d it slow

I just installed a copy of the factory rack but in all black. Purchased from Alibaba and it was $362 for the rack and $600 for shipping to my door.

That Plumb rack is super nice looking, but dang... the $$.
I got the rack and ladder with delivery for $4200

The rack looks great on your green L663. Can you post up some more pics. There's really not a ton online of this on a car !

so far 2000 miles, don’t hear any noise. Now planning to get roof tent from BA still thinking about soft or rugged. Installing was not difficult. So far very happy. According to plumb 107kg load allowed while driving

would you be able to point me to the post about how to remove stripped bolt? One of the bolts on the passenger side started to turn freely and I am scared to touch the driver side.
