I can confirm as well. I run two sets with different TPMS on a 2020 with a set of 18s and a set of 20 inch wheels

Do these make any noise while regular street/ freeway driving? Also I am new to getting tires for my defender, does the gas milage suffer with these tires?

unclear what "these" refers to. but sure, off-road tires tend to make a little more noise when driving on paved roads, but in my experience, it's usually pretty minor, and rarely noticeable or an issue. especially in trucks like the defender. when i drove jeeps with very large mud-terrain tires, i definitely noticed way more road noise. but i've been running BFGKO2's on my defender, and can't hear any difference day to day.

regarding gas milage. yes, larger tires can have an adverse effect on fuel economy due to their weight and rolling resistance. but again, in my experience it's really negligible here. i've never bothered comparing it, because my thinking is these are expensive trucks to begin with that burn a lot of fuel, so a few pennies or dollars a tank doesn't mean much in the grand scheme.

hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply. I was referring to the BFG KO2's you have.

This is my first truck like vehicle, so I am totally new when it comes to the all terrain tires. I wanted all terrain on the 24 defender but they didnt come with them. So I am doing some resrach trying to figure out what are good ones.

Another question I have is I would like to get the wide fenders put on but dont want to all spacers. Which wide of size of tires would be good to get the will help fill in the wide fenders but not rub?

someone else will need to chime in on the wide fenders. don't know much about that at all. never saw the need. regardless, rubbing issues will come down to what size rims you have (18, 19, 20, or 22) and what size tire you go with and whether or not you want to lift the vehicle. there's a ton of info in this thread and all over the forum with all sorts of tires and wheel sizes. i'd keep it simple and wouldn't try to reinvent the wheel (pardon the pun). KO2s are a great choice, so are wildpeaks, and plenty others. once the forum knows your rim size and intended use, sure you'll get tons of recos.

Thank you for the info. I have 20in wheels and I dont plan to lift the vehicle. My defender is mostly for the streets and highway driving and a little off road. I am looking for a blend of street look with a little off road look thats why I wanted the wide fenders. I really dont want to get 22 or 23 in wheels.

yeah, the last thing you'd want is bigger wheels than 20" so you're good. from my perspective, a good set of true AT tires like the KO2s is all you really need to achieve the look and functionality you're going for. no need for spacers, wide fenders, etc. anyway, i went with 275/55/r20 size and fit it perfect. maybe the tiniest bit of rubbing against front mud flap at full articulation, but barely noticeable. anyway, i'm just one of many out here, so sure others can chime in. good luck!

I have the steel wheels do you think if I shave the calipers they will fit without spacers? I really want to use them. I tried the caliper swap but the one on the forum here did not work. Someone listed a few part numbers so I ordered them but the rims rubbed.

I installed a set of LR4 wheels and Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws a few months ago to replace my OEM 19" wheels. Size is LT265/60R20. No spacers, no rubbing. Couldn't be happier with the result!

Default 19" options

With the 255/65 R19 tires, there is next to nothing available for offroad, but 255/60 R19 is available for Falken Wildpeak and others.

You're losing 1/2" of sidewall, but should not be a problem.

Anyone out there using these or similar?
