I just replaced my oem tires with KO2’s today and the guys pointed out that there were only locking lug nuts on the spare—none on the wheels on the ground. Is this a new thing LR is doing or did they forget to use them?

Hmmm, I didn't see a line item and I ordered mine.
Of course could vary still I guess by model, package, or dealer. Yes?
It could certainly vary. Not having any experience with Land Rover I optioned them in just to make sure. I would've expected them to be on there in the first place but as I had been playing around with the 'configurator' on the web site for months before I ordered my 2022 90 I didn't want to risk it.

Still it appears the OP had one or more on his spare so I would think he should have had them on his mounted wheels too right?
Huh. Wild. My dealer’s sales team was....less than verbose...when going through the process but to me it’s bizarre to have to specify something like that—especially on a certain level of car. Right?
...and I have two on my spare. For free! What a steal!
When I ordered mine ... I read through the purchase guideline bulletin that JLR distributed to its dealers for the MY22s. It was stated there that the lug nuts were an option on MY22. Dealer suggested I don’t purchase that option rather just put one in post sales as it’s easy. I agreed.
It's been a couple years, but when I bought a D5 the dealer gave them to me still in their original packaging at delivery (I did not order or asked for them). Would sure expect that would be the case this time around too.
