Default No update info in Pivi pro

Does anyone know how to resolve this? When going to the Software Update section there’s no info on what is installed. It’s always been like this since purchase (January 2022). Vehicle is connected to wifi in the garage.

Software updates are pushed out in batches. Perhaps yours has never been included in the batched updates. Are you missing a feature or just curious? Not sure if a hard reset of Pivi would change anything, but you could try it. Hold down volume **** until the screen goes dark. Takes quite awhile so keep it pressed until it obviously resets.

Back when I got my '20 in late Dec '20 my info screen looked that way for many months. Wasn't until that spring maybe that I received an update.

So that makes sense, the car hasn’t received an OTA update which explains why it doesn’t show anything. I was merely curious which software version I had. I figured it would at least just show the current version.

Hi there - could you resole this. My car shows the same, never got an update. Car is from 2021.

Is there any way to update via USB Stick?

Same issue here. Coming up on 2 years with my 2023 without an update. Car going in for an oil change and tire rotation tomorrow. Any suggestions or way to escalate with dealer?

How do you guys check?
I've noticed on first picture ignition seems to be in accessory mode, software version only appears after 2-3 minutes from initial PIVI boot.
Should at least show initial version from factory.

I have read of other owners having the dealer ‘push’ a new update, although my last trip to the dealership I inquired about having them force an update and the service advisor replied that they cannot do that. Who to believe these days?

I think there's some rules that have to be followed in order to get the updates.

Doors locked
Alarmed
Windows up (for real, all the way up with no accessories blocking them)
In-Control App connected and working/functioning with the vehicle (doesn't have to be on, but needs to be an active account and able to lock/unlock the vehicle)
WIFI connected (others have said this is needed, my updates have always alerted me in the middle of a commute, so YMMV)
Battery topped off (this seems to be a big one. Leave it on a charger overnight and make sure the battery can be fully charged)

If I was going to try anything I would put the car in my garage, make sure the wifi is connected, connect it to a battery charger, lock and set the alarm, and then leave it over the weekend and see what happens.

FWIW my dealer said they can't force an update as well, and they weren't interested in telling me what version I was stuck on when I first bought it.

The solution is the TSB 815

"Wired update."

One of the things it does is reenable OTA updates on applicable VINs.

I'm on my third in recent weeks since March when the dealer did it.

Had been on PIVI 3.2 for a year prior to that.

Good at home wifi, trickle charger, fully locked vehicle. Did nothing.
