Default Nudge Protection Bar - Sensors Question

I'm considering installing the nudge bar below and I'm not the most mechanically skilled person. It looks like I may have to resposition the sensors and was wondering if anyone had experience with this. Less importantly, I would like to paint match the sensors to match the nudge bar color, but is this a bad idea due to potentially interfering with how the sensors operate?

Powerful UK sells black stickers designed to go over parking sensors.

IDK, if you aren't mechanically incline this might not be the project to start with. I've looked at parts of this project to do some changes to mine and passed on it.
Check out a couple videos of the install and thoroughly read the instruction manual before jumping in and then come back with specific questions about steps you think might trip you up, or look complicated or risky. There's a lot of easy "pull that off, swap that clip" steps, but there are some steps that aren't that simple.

...as above... don't paint the sensors, use the stickers

I have the bull bar on mine (the JLR Part bull bar from Australia), and I bought replacement black parking sensors which are part of the parts list recommended for the install Some people just forget it and keep their existing ones. You can also buy the black stickers that companies like PowerfulUK sells to cover up the silver painted / whatever colors yours might be painted. The sensors just clip in from the rear and have a simple harness connector, not rocket science, no "wiring" required.

I will say, you can "manhandle the sensors' to much and screw up the mounting areas in the bumper and then you have to re-glue the mounting bosses (or whatever they are called -- they are plastic welded rather flimsily onto the back of the bumper cover or whatever trim piece they are on). So a light touch is important. If you just pull them out without also prying apart the mounting tabs, you can also pull off the mounting tabs and then you can;t remount the sensors.

Below is the part number for the black colored sensors...I used them on my AU Bullbar installation, I personally installed the factory winch and AU Bullbar on my 2022 110.
