Default OEM roof rack t-slot bead

Good day,
Does anyone know where to pick up the rubber insert material for the OEM roof rack? I can't imagine why the previous owner did or what he carried up there but they are cut to pieces. Trying to quiet it down a little and thought this would help.

Yeppers - You can buy it from Thule.

6 x 70” strips for $50. A bit steep really. There are also a ton of “aftermarket” options on Amazon (search “Thule Wingbar rubber strip” or similar -- but to replicate the Thule tire tread looking pattern, you may need genuine Thule.

Also, it is worth noting that twice the parts guys at my local JLR dealer have just given me a few of these strips. They have a ton extra from roof racks over the years. (it’s not just on the Defender rack)

They get cut to allow mounting of various things. Mine are cut up and all the little bits fit just right.

Amazon or free at dealer if you've got a friendly one like Nash is the go.

Ha, mine is definitely not helpful, or at least they weren't. Haven't been to them since they wouldn't replace my defective melting steering wheel on my LR3 at the time, lol. Of course, there's probably nobody left there 20 years later so maybe they're friendly now Although the salesman wouldn't lift a finger to get me the truck I wanted last year, which was a blessing because it led me to this barely used TREK which I love!

I can't imagine what all was on the rack, there's probably 20 pieces cut up there.

Awesome, much appreciated. Gotta go with the tread pattern though right?
