Default Offer to forum members - Selling my base defender

I hope that this does not seem scummy and I was not ever sure if I should post. I am ready for the flames. I purchased and love my 2022 base Defender 110 (registered end of January 2022) that I am selling only because I have a 2023 being delivered. I am told first week in June. My Defender is like new, with no issues at all since new. Very base model with 2 options.
White with white wheels and white roof
Clearsight Rearview Mirror
Large 11.4" Touch Screen with screen protector since new
2,000 miles right now

LR Forum is great and I wanted to support its users by offering to our members. I am not looking to get every penny over sticker out of it but there is clearly demand that will make it better than a swap with my dealer for the new one. I am open to offers. I can trade my dealer mine for new one, so offers need to be higher than my total cost of new one, which has more options and higher cost without trade in credit covering taxes, I need to exceed the out the door @ $65,000+

Nice! Think of the unicorn you're offering up: ClearSight, 11.4" touchscreen, soft close rear door, metal ends on the turn signal stalks, sunglasses holder, the list goes on!

The '22s are certainly unique and offer some things that the newer ones don't. You should take as much as the market is willing to give you (just don't post about selling it on Carmax or half the forum will turn against you.).

Crazy Money! They're offering crazy money by all accounts.

Best of luck with the sale OP and congrats on the new model.

I know that they have stopped ClearSight but
My new order says that it has 11.4" touchscreen
Did they really stop:
soft close rear door?
metal ends on the turn signal stalks?
sunglass holder?
anything else?

Digital dash is nuked for all but the high spec. Analog dials now.

I have the Analog Dials with digital screen for important info in middle is the best of both IMHO. Have an X5 with digital dash and I don't really like it. I Get some glare. I feel like the Defender is a much more analog kind of truck so I don't really care about the option.

Yeah. No worries. Just wanted to answer your question. Personal tastes and all that.

For me, small screen is just fine. Seen both and prefer smaller.

Soft close I like, others feel it's useless.

Sunglasses. I like having a storage nook. Many could care less.

Clearsight is fantastic to me. But many don't like it/don't use it.

The half analog dash looks weird to me. I could live with it but like the digital.

All small potatoes. The hardware is the important thing for me.

What was the original sticker price of your truck?

I have to dig it up but it was, I think $55K and change plus fees and tax. out the door like $60,000. If I trade in for 23 I pay no new tax. If I sell to someone I have to pay tax on the new one to the dealer. LR has had two price increases since I purchased.

Dang, sounds like a very reasonable ask to me. If that truck was being offered at that price and it either met my specification or I didn’t have very strong preferences I’d buy it rather than wait in today’s market with all its uncertainty. Bird in the hand and all that. And I say if he paid 60 and he’s asking 65 for a truck with no stories and 2000 miles, that’s very fair minded in today’s market.
