Default Onboard air Mod , Viair 485c + 2 gallon tank - ext.output

So next mod, Air.
Not very impressed with the Landrover aircompressor.

My demands: Quick refill after deflating (I use the Staun deflators )
Aircompressor Viair 485C constant duty 200psi
Airtank 2 gallon
Pressure switch relay 165 psi / 200 psi
Regulator max 220 psi
Straight from battery with 40 amp fuse
Viair pressure gauge
Carling HR rocker switch DTDP
Prevost S1 euro safety coupler 1/4" female tread ( max. 175 psi)
Elbow 1/4" male/ female
Flexzilla 3/8" hose 300psi

First setup

Did have the Flexzilla professionel crimped.

Regulator set to 160 psi

Viair gauge backlit on the Interior lighting.

Carling switch

Prevost S1 safety coupler external

Everthing is working fine, relative quiet, nice to have a full tank of air before leaving offroad, refill of the first Tire from 20 psi to 34 in 30 seconds.
All four in just over 5 minutes.

Thx. NoGaBiker.
I'll try to modify my 90 to be ready for some serious offroad.
I'am not mounting the Hi-Lift on my rear door. Instead I'am thinking of an Airjack..
Let's proceed with the mods !

Very nice - would love to see a schematic or build outline if that's not too much trouble to put together.

Too bad, you can't go F1 style and install jacks into the bottom of the defender. Have 4 switches of just one that raises the whole car up.
