Has anyone installed the ORD Treesliders on their 110? Lucky 8 has the sliders listed for the 90 but I don’t see the 110 option. On the ORD Facebook page they do show images of the 110.

Lucky 8 has their 110 rock sliders on their website. They had them well before the 90 were on the site.
Are those ORD sliders made of aluminum or steel? The above listing on Newdefendermods doesn't say, but they also appear to be available as part of an "Ultimate Underbody Protection Package" (with nosebleed freight rates to match, but that's no surprise since they ship from Europe) in both 90 and 110 formats from the same supplier - and it says all components, side steps included, are made of aluminum. That would probably be a deal breaker for me - aluminum is way lighter than steel, but while I can appreciate underbody engine / fuel tank / etc. plates made of 8 mm-thick aluminum as offering adequate and way-better-than-factory protection with minimal extra weight penalty, I am not so sure sliders made of aluminum could take the abuse I sometimes put them through, especially here in the US southwest where, unlike Belgium where they were apparently developed, we are definitely much more in need of "rock" than "tree" sliders...

Meet my new best friend UHMW! 3/8 layer over aluminum. This stuff is so slick. Maybe add a layer to those skids.
UHMW!
What was wrong with the Lucky 8 weld quality that made it a deal breaker?
Let me rephrase that. I’m sure the weld quality is great and others have shared their positive experience with the sliders. To me the welds just seem a bit bulky and not refined enough to put on an expensive vehicle.
