Posting this as it may help anyone who is waiting for their new 130, and is curious on deliveries.

Had our new defender D300

130 X-Dynamic SE delivered today.
ordered June 6 2022, we were first on the order books at our local dealer in Shrewsbury.

The usual bits are missing, such as the charging points in 2nd row and sunglasses holder. I’m not sure if it should be there but there’s no 110v in the boot.

very pleased with the vehicle. It’s excellent and doesn’t feel as big as it looks.

That’s beautiful, I’m checking in on Friday, as that is supposed to be my build date. Can’t wait.

 

Excellent! Ours was built on 19th September, completed by 22nd September (I think)

it was ‘called off’ for delivery to the dealer on 21st October, so a month or so after being built. Delivered to dealer 24th October, collected 29th October.

I don’t think there are any more videos on YouTube I could watch in anticipation of getting the car!

Beautiful! It seems like 130s with the classic mud flaps do not come with a front mud flap, is that right?

I love the barn -- very nice !!

I like the dual colors on the 130 -- really works with the black and green. Accentuates the length (which I think is cool -- if you got it, flaunt it). Like the green of the grass and of the 130 -- and the wheels.

I do miss the signature sky window (or whatever it is called), but only after someone else mentioned it. Otherwise I would not have noticed, I expect. (Likely, JLR just could not realistically manage it -- for some structural reason.)

I am approaching 40K miles on my P110 and it just does NOT have enough room. For hauling, my three row LR4s win out easily -- without question.

So, maybe when the LR4s are through ....?

I am not sure they come as a pair, actually, as we ordered both front and back but only the back were in stock. I’ll have the front ones fitted next week when they arrive.

pretty sure we paid for them as a separate pair I.e not a full set.
