One week after installing OS 4.3.2 here comes another release.

 

Mine popped up last week, waiting to see if anyone’s had issues this far

 

 

Smells like at least two botched releases in a row.

I have a strange feeling reading release notes for 4.3.2 - I distinctly remember reading "Once a year sign in (password retention increased from 90 days to one year)" earlier and making a note of it, it was one of major annoyances, but my vehicle's OS was on 4.3.0 since it came out, and it's not on 4.3.2 yet.

 

Updated both our Defenders to 4.3.3 and no issues to report. Now that I turned off cellular data, put a router in the garage and have both connected to WiFi, updates download and install smoothly.

 

2023.5 110 X-dynamic. Since purchase maybe one or two updates pushed to me and never an issue with download, install or after. Over the last few weeks I have had 3 different versions download and installed. No issues. Currently at 4.2.1. It does look like JLR are doing a better job at releasing updates and getting them installed. Fingers crossed that I will see more updates that go as smooth. this below looks to be the progression of versions.

 

Did you know you can take a screenshot of your pivi screen with your phone? Just have your phone connected to your Defender and the screen on. Take a screenshot on your phone on any active screen, and when you go into your phones picture folder you'll have a screenshot of your pivi screen as well. (works in IOS for sure)

I was wondering why I had all these random screenshots of my pivi and I realized they were linked to activity I was doing in the car for my job. I'd have a screenshot of something on my phone I was working on, and one of the pivi.

 

Apple is changing that CarPlay screen shot feature with the next iOS release. I’m one of the ones who found it annoying.

FINALLY. I have hundreds if not thousands of these silly screenshots in my camera roll on my iPhone. The ability to turn this on and off is brilliant.
