Good to hear feedback from someone else in AZ. Ours is basically guaranteed to do it if you don't park and shut it off instantly. I'm not so worried about the behavior of the fan - I'd expect it to run if things were real hot. I'm just wondering if a sensor is inaccurately reporting. Though I suspect that's something the dealer will never bother with diagnosing.
Hey KPD122 - I have about 9000 miles on my P300 - I have noticed that the fan does run less over the last several months - maybe the engine is getting broke-in a bit and not running as hot, now that I have more miles on it. I'm not an engine expert, just play one on the internet!
Regards,
DG

The function doesn't bother me at all, especially after confirming that it's normal behavior to some extent. The annoyance comes from the fact that the fans aren't running at any perceptible volume until the engine is shut off. Walking into the house listening to my garage roar away for anywhere between 1 and 5 minutes isn't an ideal situation, nor is having people stop me to let me know I left my car running in a parking lot when I didn't. Can I live with it? Totally. Minor details at the end of the day, mainly just checking to see if it's expected.

I have a 2023 D90S with the P300. I live in chicago and yes mine does it about 20% of the time.. when it happens , it seems very short.

Seems like it's all good. Certainly hasn't stopped any enjoyment of the car yet. Funny enough, I heard a cooling fan in the garage this afternoon and it was my 911 this time... Go figure...
