Pangea Green in Southwest desert?
...for a while, I had this nagging suspicion that something was off in Arizona. Then it dawned on me... no green cars. The only green cars there were were brought in by newcomers, and they didn't last long.
Now, back to the topic at hand - the most difficult choice there is, the color
Honestly, I like none of them, I like my vehicle to blend with the desert and not stand out. My Recon was Gobi - that color was actually a chameleon, it blended with anything. Defender colors, not so much.
I can live with greys - once dusty, they'll blend. Spending extra money on them, as a non-essential item, goes against my gut, though. So does the other end of the spectrum - Fuji White, it does stick out as a sore thumb even after a day of a heavy desert trail. Two colors are at the finish line - Tasman Blue vs. Pangea Green. Thinking about it, Tasman Blue will blend at least with the sky, but Pangea Green... Interestingly enough, I couldn't find any photos of it in a desert setting, so I wonder if others came to the same conclusion (no green in the desert) or I just didn't dig deep enough?
Anyone's got pictures?

No experience with desert, but Pangea blends nicely with dirt (I have one), but for overall look the sharpest looking defenders are dark colored.

It is, but there's way too much gold and shine in it for my taste. Same for Pangea Green, btw, though to a lesser extent.
Mojave Sand, to be pedantic
That was the color I originally wanted, but they didn't issue the Recon edition in it, only Goby. It does indeed look exactly like Mojave sand.

Shame on me, usually the grammar ****
Brain fade, thanks for the correction.
PS: Yep, brain fade. I wrote it right in the beginning. Need more sleep

Maybe don't be pedantic and we wouldn't be reading this noise?
