Not sure why this didnt come through before but here's my X w/ Explorer pack including wheel protection. I think it works fine but definitely a personal choice.

Smokin, where did you get painted flares? I’ve been looking for these...

 

They can’t be purchased that way. Buy them in the regular textured matte plastic and find someone that will properly prep & sand them, then spray high fill primer and sand and then paint. It’s a process and takes a decent body shop. Easy to install yourself after it’s painted

Great thread here. I have an HSE on order and supposed to be delivered end of April. The wheel arches were an essential add in my mind and then I realized the HSE comes with gloss door sills. Then they released the V8 Carpathian and I have the RRSC Sport V8. I have a heck of a dilemma. Love the V8 and want. The V8 with 22 inch wheels wasn’t what I was think would be a good Baja vehicle.
