^^So you have that sifting sand sound too? I don't have the A-pillar crackling sound. Let’s keep each other and the board posted on what we find.
Note: My P400 HSE has the factory-installed Expedition rack. I have not taken mine into the dealer yet.

Thanks for keeping me posted on what you find.

I have been trying to determine whether my noise was coming from the A-pillar or the windshield. To me it sounds like it is coming from the top of the windshield behind the mirror, but my wife is less certain. It is not consistent and generally only present in significant crosswinds and/or speeds above 70-75 mph. It doesn't seem as bad as the a-pillar noise some are describing, but I have no frame of reference. The jury is out on my dealer... they aren't high volume, unfortunately. Everything on Defenders seems to be a case of first impression for them so I'm somewhat inclined to wait and not be their guinea pig if I don't have to be.

^^ Exactly where my sound is also, and I feel the same way, unless I learn there’s an exact fix.

My 2021 XD had a similar sound, not as loud as others have noted though. The dealer had it for about a day and said they had to tighten the body color panels on the A-pillar, apparently the panels were flexing. I’ve had it back for about 1 week and the sound appears to be gone, hopefully it stays that way.

Forgot to mention that they said the factory fixed the previous issues the 2020’s were having with the A-pillar noise. 🤷‍♂️

No problem. Will share in the AM when I’m back in the office. Below is a link they shared with the overview of what they fixed. https://tvidnow.com/sG4kKOR

MNDefender - ^^^ thanks. Did your’s also sound like sifting sand coming from the top of the windshield/rear view mirror area?

Pretty much. I only heard it on the passenger side but the tech said both sides had some flex.

Ok, look forward to your service receipt. I went outside and my painted A pillars have a little flex like your’s did in the video with your shop foreman. Thanks again.
