Default Production Defect.....Wind Noise

I have to wonder if the factory has made any production changes with so many complaints of the same problem? This type of problem on such an expensive car is just simply unacceptable after one year of production.....ordering replacement parts is not the solution to the problem....only the factory can really solve the problem with the design engineers......Certainly in 2021 with a very attractive and capable model JLR can do better.....

Hi did you see the Tucker Woods report today about pieces flying off on the highway?

There needs to be a major complaint filed with the NHTSA regarding this possibly dangerous situation......JLR needs to fix this problem NOW

Good luck and sorry to hear about your troubles...

My wife's First Edition was built in 04/20 and has had the "fix" twice already. Noise comes back every time. Now it is back in the shop for another issue and to fix this yet again. The 2020 SE Defender we have as a loaner has the same A Pillar issue. Not a good design at all. LR should be ashamed to have this same issue come back time after time. With no permanent solution.

I did register a formal complaint with the NHTSA.

I have a similar issue when I drive around 70mph, I have an almost full option Defender 2020 first edition and I have been getting flapping sounds of when I drive around that speed. I do not know what is causing, so please let me know so that I inform my dealer about it

This is just too bad and I hope LR is reading these posts. My 2020 Defender has been to the dealer three times for the exact same issue, and the tapping noise is still there. I have driven the car over 500 miles just for the dealer trips. I called the dealer 30 minutes after I bought the car and told them about the noise. LR must do something about this issue, as the dealers did not built nor design this vehicle. I feel sorry for the dealers trying their best to please their customers and yet fail at fixing the design problem.
I have owned 5 Range Rovers and one LR3 and two previous gen Defenders. I came back to LR after a long absence (bought Land Cruiser and Cayenne) and bought the 2020 Defender. Wake up Land Rover, and for heaven sake get some competent people to do QC.
