Has anyone tried these new tires from Pirelli?

Good tire, very suitable for our Defenders - unfortunately the thread depth is 14/32 a bit on the low side.

A few reasons this can happen:
1- Your air hose is not properly sealing over the valve stem. Make sure it is firmly pressed over the valve stem.
2- Your valve stem could be damaged; could be loose or broken. Test it with soapy water by spraying it over the valve. If it bubbles, you have a leak there.

The Pirelli sounds like a winner. I would like to see more tests about this new tire.

I've never been a big fan of Pirellis - years ago they used to make great tires, and they still make decent R-compound summer tires. I find their all-seasons and even their summer tires lack grip. Spinrelli's as I call them.

This new all-terrain seems to be impressive, though!

I was never fan of Pirelli tires either on sport cars but for my Macan all season OEM tires (PIRELLI SCORPION VERDE ALL SEASON), it was actually quite good (good wear, less noise and good grips).
If I ever decided to go with street tires for my Defenders (maybe 2nd set of wheels), I will prob. go with Pirelli.

My Macan came with the Michelin Latitude Tour HPs, which didn't fit the character of the car. Very much a touring tire and not a performance tire. I abused them and needed to replace at 15k miles, and I wanted the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4, which is an OEM tire on the 21" wheels, but unavailable on the 20" wheels, which I have. I put the PSAS4s on our Q7 and love them. I ended up going with the Continental DWS06+ for the Macan, and they're so much better. Quiet, comfortable, loads of grip, and significantly faster on the autocross course.

Conti DW or DWS are always good choice. While it does not perform all the way to the top in any specific area, it provides great balance for wear/noise/performance. It has a bit ugly sidewall. that's the only downside which is very much minor concern.

We may be too off topic but thanks for the info. I will avoid Michelin Latitude when time comes.

Can't say anything about the new Scorpions. I ended up with a sidewall tear using the older version on 19" wheels.
