I have not received the 3.3 update yet, but a couple days ago my PIVI started acting up. Now if I push the settings icon, it goes to the display brightness / dark mode screen and will not do anything else until restarting the vehicle after several minutes. I can't even see if I have 3.3 available. Thoughts?

Im in a similar boat. Two weeks to roll out an update is a tad bit ridiculous.

Happened to me once before. I couldn't get to my settings and all that was available were the brightness slider and the monitor off buttons, IIRC. Reboot the system while it's in that condition, after 20-25 seconds of holding the power button the screen should go blank. Release and let the system restart completely (takes a good 3-4 minutes, in my experience), the settings should come back.

I still haven’t received it. Does anyone know if you have to be logged into incontrol to receive it? Also basic question which I can’t find the answer to, does the car need to be connected to the internet or do you use the T-mobile in car sim? Manual is surprisingly confusing on all if this.

My car offered me the option of downloading 3.3, and I don't have an InControl account. The vehicle does connect to the Internet via its built-in SIM (which ials ATT if memory serves me right). I don't have it logged on to my home wi fi either.

Hope this helps.

I’ve been checking every day and still nothing. Anyone know a way to force an update check?

Something to check anyway....My Pivi pro was set to connect to my phone on start up for a hotspot. I switched it to my home wifi while parked in the garage and low and behold it downloaded 3.3.

Good Luck

They roll out updates based on VIN number. No way to force updates. The goal is to not bog down the system like they did on the previous touch pro systems.

I assumed this was the case, as my vehicle is only a few weeks old I still don't have it - given the speed of the roll out, good job its not a safety system !

why does everyone want to disable the stop/start function?

what about the planet? 🤣

seriously, doesn’t the car have a brake hold so you just stop, apply the brake to cut the engine and leave in temporary park… then just drive off with accelerator?
