Is your Defender new? Have you every had an update applied? I forgot to mention that when I first took delivery of my new Defender, my Software Version screen was also blank - not sure why this happens, but I had the same experience. After your first software update, the software version info/details will then be displayed.

Thank you.
Yes it's brand new. 70 miles!
I'm thinking I'm due for an upgrade as I don't have the extended options for the programable <> button in the steering wheel (like auto start/stop)

I didn't see an upgrade for about 5 months after I picked up my '23.

Not that this means anything, but I didn’t have the update and then I turned on location services on the app. The next time I got into the car- it said I had an update. Could be coincidence. I’ve only owned it about a week.

On my phone for the LR app. I noticed that it would just spin when connecting to the vehicle until I turned on the location services on my phone (for the app specifically). After that, everything updated on the app and then the car showed the update. Again- could be a complete coincidence- but it was all within a few hours of each other.

Picked up our brand-new Defender from the dealer August 16, 3.3.0 updated September 14, first drive after that today, Sept. 16. Noticed that everything on the radio (Sirius, CarPlay, HD radio) sounded "tinny" and a little echo sounding, and the volume had to be turned way up just to hear it on the highway. No amount of adjusting the audio controls would help. And the Nav voice directions could barely be heard and seemed comingled with the music. Started and stopped the car a number of times to see if this might help, to no avail. Then after dinner out, got back in the car and everything back to normal! Go figure?

If it happens again try rebooting your Pivi system by keeping the volume button pressed in until the system reboots, this can fix a lot of ****ly little problems

Hey Jaspey - Did you by chance have Apple Carplay enabled? I had this issue happen once when I had Carplay enabled and the system thought I was talking through the phone and the sound through the speakers sounded like a conversation over the phone. When I restarted the car, it switched back to normal sound through the car speakers.
