Pivi Pro 4.3.0 Update
Installing updates as soon as they hit your Pivi is a mistake IMO. Waiting a few weeks, at least a few days - while also monitoring forums like these is IMO the best practice in general. I've witnessed too many horror stories - especially from people who own Teslas, who are all too eager to install the latest nonsense that they push out (can't miss out on the latest fart sounds for your alarm chirp
) only to find that the next morning their rolling battery is a dead brick. This happened to my neighbor and when the tow truck came to get it - the weight of the thing, combined with the fact that the parking brake was on, completely ruined his garage floor epoxy paint while it was being winched out.
Over the air updates aren't always "good". Let the pioneers take the arrows. You won't lose any friends or social status if you don't have the latest Pivi version installed on Day 0.

That's great to hear! It seems like it might just not be my turn yet.
The 4.3.0 update seemed to install correctly although the software on the screen wasn't updated - If anyone has the ECU infos readout from the IIDTool before and after the update that would confirm if or not the display firmware should have updated, I note that the release notes did not specify which screen size the update applied to. The ICCM (Infotainment Compute Control Module) and IGM (Infotainment Gateway Module) did change with this update.
I had swapped the 10" display for the 11.4" on my 2022 and had wondered if this may affect the 4.3.0 update as part of the update addressed the screen performance (especially as the 11.4 screen had come from a Jaguar!).

I also swapped a Jaguar screen. Have you been receiving updates regularly after the swap? I have never received any updates since the swap and was stuck on 4.1.5.
I was already updated to 4.2.0 before changing the screen so will have to wait to see if updates past 4.3.0 work ok - I've still got the 10" to swap back in if there are problems down the line.
ISTR that it was some time after the initial release of 4.3.0 until the vehicle updated.

FYI - I went on TOPIx for the software update bulletin about this ... the latest bulletin they have posted is for 4.2.0 (and I believe 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 came out but no bulletins) - no bulletin exists for 4.3.0 - but if you look at N792 "Touchscreen Blank on Startup" then it references software update bulletin S028 (which doesn't exist yet) for 4.3.0.
My vehicle is one of those 'lucky' ones with SOTA Persistency of which there are at least 2 versions of a bulletin to fix that; when it's in for service on Tuesday I'm making sure they actually fix it this time. I'm stuck on 4.0.0 which I had to have them manually install last time I was there. Some dealers.... sheesh.

Updates also detailed here Landrover Software Updates - still shows 4.3.0 as "upcoming"
