Super weird, but had been at the airport for the week. I have 4.4.0 on my Defender.

My Defender immediately popped up a notification to install 4.0.0. The features were “Apple Maps now in instrument cluster display”. Everything listed here from the 2023 release of 4.0.0. https://www.ovalnews.com/2023/07/piv...ase-notes.html

What is going on.

A 'via the air' update is coming to an airport near you?

LOL what's going on? I've been tapping "disagree" every time I go out. Above someone mentions 4.5 being out but mine only started offering 4.4 about a week ago.

Over the past 3 weeks my 2025 V8 has had 3 (I think) updates and I'm now at 4.4.0 as of yesterday.

Funny things is I'm far from 4.4 on my 2023 P400. Just received 4.3 update last night (took a full year to receive first update since 4.2.X) and it looks like it's quite an improvement (rearview cam night view improvement and once a year sign in and other minor improvements). As I see so many issue on 4.4, I'm just happy that I finally got somewhat major improvements from Pivi 4.3. =)

Just picked up a 2023 130 First Edition P400 a couple of days ago. At the dealership setting everything up, we had issues with playing music from both android auto and apple car play. We also could not even select a different media (XM, FM, AM). Volume control also would not work. These would be fixed when holding power down on the Pivi Pro until it reset. If the connection from our phones were reset (turning car off and on or disconnecting wireless) it would happen again. When turning the car off, we would get prompted to update to 4.4. The last time the vehicle was updated was September 2025.

We did the 4.4 install when we got the vehicle home and we have not had any audio problems since.

I noticed after the fact that there was a bug fix in the change notes that sounds like it addressed this issue: "Audio improvements which resolve loss of audio and audio selection".

I would say updating to 4.4 was worth it for us.

BTW, one month later and my 2020 is still stuck on 4.0.0 after downgrading from 4.4.0 in late February.
