I have a 2023 defender 110 and I have not had a software update since October. Has there been an update since?

 

Mine had a December 2023 update.

I assume you have looked in your settings to see if updates are indicated?

 

Yes thank you. I just got a notification TODAY to update PIVI - im hearing from others that it screwed up their system,

 

Were you prompted to the notification or how were you able to access it? I picked up my 2024 110S today and noticed that apple Maps is not displaying on the central gauge cluster like it did when I test drove. Curious if this is due to the update?

Also, what do you mean when folks said it screwed up their system?

 

I am new to this system, My old RR (2019) had the previous version and even map updates had to be downloaded.
But...If you go to settings I think you are able to choose what appears in the instr guage cluster.

 

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a single related setting. I have toggled between which nav I want on the central screen I.E. Pivi or Apple Carplay and it changes on the main screen but nothing changes on the IDD

 

Not sure about yours....But my local dealer is not much help. I just call LR direct and it isn't too bad getting through.

 

I called the 1-1800 customer service number and when they pulled up my car they said there were no available updates that they could push to my car and that they believed it to be up to date. I am not sure if this is accurate from what I have been reading so this is truly frustrating

 

Downloaded without incident. Not sure what the improvements were but car play connects instantly. Graphics are clean and bright.

 

If you go to the area that is accessed by using the steering wheel menu option, there is a choice between 2 gauges-1 gauge-info-map. That is where you can have the map on your middle instr cluster.
