Default PiviPro Update - Sorry to ask...

I know this question has been asked before, but wanted to bounce it around once more. I have a new 2025 P400 110 that I purchased at the end of April this year and the Software screen still displays no Software Version # or Date info - I have never received an OTA Update to the system. I had a 2022 110 P300 that had no issues receiving OTA Updates on a regular basis. - parked in the same garage.

Is there any way to force a software update? The dealer says no. I'm pretty sure I am not on the most current update as I am missing several new features. I have done a reboot on the PiviPro twice and that hasn't helped.

Today I have turned off the PiviPro AT&T Cellular option and only have it setup to my home WIFI - maybe that will help as AT&T in my neighborhood is 1 bar or less - just no coverage. I have great WIFI coverage and my router is about 10' from my garage.

Any thoughts would be appreciated - I guess at this point, I should just wait for an update to eventually come... Thanks!

Software updates are sent out in batches, so not all cars are updated at once. I've once had to wait over eight months for a software update. Updates can be forced, but I believe it can only be forced until car receives its first update. You'll get it - there haven't been any big updated with anything noticeably lately.

Thanks for the reply - I was thinking this was going to be the case.

I picked my OCTA early May, same message on Pivi. Two weeks ago I got two updates within three days. In any case, JLR could do a much better job explaining OTA updates.

This is normal until you receive that first update. We just got our first update to 4.3.1 on our 2025 P400 110 in the US late last month that we purchased in June. I would give it a little more time especially as we don’t know if the OTA updates are now delayed due to the cyber event. We also left WiFi and Cellular enabled. This is our second Pivi Pro vehicle and that first update can seem like it takes forever when you don’t know what release you have from the factory.

My 2025 was purchased in January and I’ve received 2 updates so far, the last one being 2 weeks ago.

Just chiming in here to follow. Took delivery of my new 2025 V8 110 last week, and my Pivi also shows no software version.

Interesting, and glad to know you received updates. Were you only on home wifi, or had you re-enabled AT&T in-vehicle?

I have both enabled, but my in car cellular service is showing T-Mobile, not AT&T. Strange. My first update happened while out driving and stopped for an errand. The second update came a few days later at my home.
