Default Placing an Order

Hello All. Looking for some insight based on your experiences. I am interested in purchasing a new 90, this will be my 4th Land Rover all bought from same dealer. I requested an allocation and submitted my build for an X Dynamic. Dealer won’t say when I may get an allocation and are not saying where I sit on the waiting list but apparently there are at least 20 people ahead of me…BUT…they apparently have a factory ordered 90 coming next week and it can be mine for a small ADM, it’s a nice build but not what I would have ordered. So question is are allocations this hard to come by and are dealers still getting ADM. i don’t mind waiting, but sure seems the dealer wants me to take this one…

Depending on how sales tax works in your area when you resell/trade, I would personally consider jumping on it and driving it until your order comes in. If the markup isn't too outrageous, you may be able to roll out of it at a small profit or break-even. Just know that 90's are traditionally a little softer in the resale market.

I say this as someone who bought 3 cars in the last 6 months at or a little below sticker and they're all worth a good bit more than I paid. Even if you take a small loss, you'll enjoy more time driving it.
