Hi,
I have a newly purchased Defender SE 2022 with Meridian Sound System 400W with 10 speakers plus subwoofer. When i play music at 42 (of a 60 max) the speakers start popping like they are being overloaded. So either the speakers cant handle the amp or the amp is too big.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have spoken to landrover and they say that this is the same for all of these defenders and is not covered by warranty.... So they are basically saying that the speaker system is faulty but they dont atke any responsibility for the and I am on my own.
I just cant get my head around this and how come they dont have more pride in their product.

Would like to know how many other people have this issue.

 

I had the same thing on my 2020 se. had to get a few speakers replaced and have the doors insulated. Took about 4 times in the shop to figure it out. Disaster of a sound system
