Yeah well... I'm not sure that's a good idea from the image and perception standpoint. It might make sense financially for the tariffs thing but that's about it. Stelantis is the classic example of an European view shoved down the American market of classic pick up trucks and downsizing / abandonment of V8 engines, it was a complete failure. Add that to the horrible timing Jaguar decided to go full electric and pink... you have a formula for disaster. I hope JLR doesn't get itself in even more trouble by going 'luxury for the masses' - Stellantis was able to transform RAM from a money-printing brand into an almost bankrupt enterprise in just one year. I'd stay away as JLR has a good thing going on right now with the new Range Rovers and Defender.
