Default Proud rhino ladder compatability

I was wondering if anyone had installed a proud rhino/Lucky8 rear ladder with the front runner roof rack that used the stock rails. I looked at some pictures and it looks like the rails supports at the back could interfere with the ladder mount. I realize that companies do not always design their parts to be compatible with parts made by other companies so i wanted to make sure they can be used together before I order either part. Any info would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it is not designed to work with the front runner rack.

It works fine…you just need to trim the the roof rack bracket a little to clear the ladder mount. It was a very easy and quick mod to the bracket with an angle grinder and cutoff wheel.

Great question honestly. I would love to know the answer as well? The voyager with the mesh floor is number one on my list for my 110. The roof rack is my next project. I intend to use the lucky8 rear ladder with it. Lucky8 says it is not compatible I asked them directly. I intend to still do it and believe they can be modified to work together. I have ideas based on pictures of them both and the mounting instructions I have found for them. I will report back once I do it. Will take a month or two before I get to it as doing the rear ladder and removing the rear bumper I figure I will do the bumper replacement at that same time. So need to get the roof rack, ladder, and bumper all purchased. All of these have different lead times.

I am a little delayed as I decided to do the winch first. I have the Lucky8 Stealth Winch Mount on order and will be doing that install first. Doing that in preparation for Lucky8 to release their bull bar. The roof rack is now project 2. Will be ordering soon and then waiting the couple months for it to arrive. I am toying with the idea of fabricating my own rear ladder. Time will tell.
