has anyone seen customized puddle / welcome lights for the Defender 202x? I wish they had a light carpet like BMW but I understand that is actually created via laser lights... My understanding is that it is just the pic of the Defender..

 

I think it's embarrassing, like something PepBoys would sell. Wish I could turn off the logo part and just have the light. Or even a nice scenic mountain range profile or something.

Anyways, looks like its a physical image printed on a slide sealed inside a led lamp housing. Bummer. You'd have to replace the whole phyiscal unit. I suppose a sufficiently well equipped/skilled DIYer could customize, but I see no way to make it work as service. Maybe Simon will fab up a couple alternatives (i'd prefer like a 110/90 or something else slightly less corny)
