Rats! (actually, mice)
I'll share this story too...while my mice damage was being repaired, another person brought in their Range Rover and had a meltdown that it was a rattle-box POS and the rattling over every road bump was driving him crazy. The service advisor later called the irate customer and asked him if he stored dog food in the garage? He said "yes, but what does that matter". They found the storage area under the read cargo area packed with dog food as mice were living in there and bringing in dog food.
Well, you can ask the "Orkin" man to change the bait. In addition to that, if it is inside, you can lay down stickies too. Being indoor helps, but if you do have traps and changed every 3 months, you definitely have a rodent problem. I mean, try to find the source.

The garage is the easiest place for them to get warm. Every spring when I take the grill covers off there's always a nest inside the grills that I have to remove and use the MAP torch to purge.
I was just worried about the electrical insulation - my old man had a mercedes back in the day that would constantly get ravaged by the f**kers while all our other vehicles would be fine despite being parked side by side.
Bonide "Mouse Magic" works great and smells good. It needs to be refreshed every few weeks. I put packets by the bottom of the tracks on the overhead doors.

At my last oil change I had little mice footprints over the top of the engine on my 110, but no visible damage. I have been using scented dryer sheets in the engine compartment, but they need to be replaced often and I am not sure if they are working or not. I park outside and my vehicle is in the desert often.
