Default Rebates for price increases

Recently heard that Land Rover was providing rebates to dealers to make customers whole for price increases over their production period. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did it come up with your dealer? Did they honor it?

Mine, which is still in limbo after “cleared for transport” from the port for like two weeks now. I asked for the final bill and it was noted that I received a rebate for the price increase that occurred during production.

I took delivery a couple days ago. I think it was around $1300. Came out to be about the same price that was originally agreed upon give or take a few dollars.

Same here also got a price change rebate when the deal closed 3 weeks ago to make me whole to the order price.

I get the sense my dealer is trying to pocket the rebate. At what point did you all see the rebate? Was it communicated to you by the sales team or when you got to finance at the dealership?

It is listed on my summation of charges, fees and tax license fees. It was listed as “Rebate”

On my 90X, the msrp went up from the time I ordered it, until the time it was delivered. They gave me a rebate on the price difference so that the original price when I ordered was honored.

Are you all experiencing prices changes within the same model year or within a change from model year?

Two months after I had ordered my defender it got pushed to the next model year and the price increased in the 4k range. I was basically told that if I still wanted the vehicle that would be the new price. I thought it was pretty crummy to have an accepted order that apparently had a variable price.
