Remote App not updating to latest version

Default Remote App not updating to latest version

I've been trying to update to the newest version of the app and have been unable to do so. My wife also has the same problem with her app. Is this because of our model year being 2020 or is there a trick to get it to update to the latest? Here's 2 screenshots below of the app and the version. I've tried logging out and back in as well as uninstalling the app multiple times. My wife also did the same. We're running the latest iOS 18 as well.

Sign out, delete the app, and reinstall it. There have been many people having problems with the app, and this method has worked for many, including myself. It took a few times, but eventually it worked.

I've tried that 3 times as has my wife with no luck. Any 2020 owners have the new screen?

being a 2020MY shouldn't have anything to do with it. I deleted and reinstalled probably five or six times over the course of a week and it finally updated to the latest version the other day, and I have a 2021MY.

I had this issue and deleted the app maybe 7 times, also deleted the app again before launching, and also changed my password at https://incontrol.landrover.com

I'm not totally sure what did it, but I've been chatting to tech support at JLR and had another issue with the Apple Watch app not showing miles and Fahrenheit even though the iPhone app does, he asked that I delete the app and try again, when I did that upon re-installing I got the old screen/app back! Needless to say their QC is absolute crap, I changed my password again, re-installed the iOS app and got the new version.

they really need to get some better software engineers, the PIVI is buggy as hell too.

signing out, deleting, re-installing, signing in worked for me. running latest version of ios.

Sign out, delete app, turn off iPhone, redownload finally did the trick for me.

the color of my defender is not correct in the app. Does anyone’s color/ variant show on the new design, or are we all looking at a generic silver 110?

2021 P300 here and the update happened without deleting or logging out. The car in my app is silver too (mine is white) so not sure if it’s are meant to show the actual colour in the app.

It just shows a generic image of a Defender (or whatever LR product you have), the same one as seen in the gauge cluster screen when the vehicle is off. It isn't supposed to be the same color as your car, like in BMWs.

I wonder if it has something to do with the Temporary flag on my screen. I've never figured out how to get rid of it. Everything works fine, but it always says Temporary.
