Default Removing the rear Land Rover badge?

Hey all -

Does anyone know how the rear Land Rover badge is attached to the truck? I'm thinking adhesive but I'm not certain.

I'm thinking of removing it and replacing it with the badge we were given at the Defender Trophy.

Thank you!

Matt

I'm fairly sure it's adhesive by looking at the replacements on the internet. A blow dryer and some dental floss will tell you in short order.

I just took mine off yesterday, purely adhesive.

I will have to take this approach to the side squares assuming they are similar. I would like to remove the LR badge and then hopefully vinyl wrap black the square itself for more of a floating roof look.

Love the Trophy badge replacement here Matt, might have to meet you out there next year!

Very nice indeed. I do not have a nifty Trophy badge but I am tempted to use a repro of the old style badge found on the Series Landies. I hesitate because the current Defender is not built in Solihull like those of yore, so it would be a bit of misrepresentation.

If you hunt around, there is a really good supplier/vendor making metal repros of these but without the word Solihull. Expensive @ 70 bux or so. I’ll try to hunt it down. I thought about doing the same to mine.
