Default Replace 19's with 18in Steelies

Hi all - first time posting here. Just picked my custom build 2021 X-Dynamic on Friday and I so love this truck.

My question is - has anyone successfully swapped out factory alloys for steel wheels?

I was looking at the old Wolf Wheels, but realize that they likely require a longer stud. Has anyone done this?

Also curious if there would be any local interest - Brooklyn, NY / Ulster County in purchase of the existing tire/wheel combo? They're the 19" Style 6010 6 spoke in gloss black with the off-road tire.

Unfortunately you won’t clear the brakes with 18 inch rims as the P400 models have bigger rotors to slow down the ~400 hp engine. You would need to change out the actual bake system if you want to clear the threshold.

thought the brakes on the p400 are too big to accommodate the 18's?

Lucky8 has a rear brake swap which will allow 18” to fit on a P400. BUT you are still limited on what 18” wheels will fit. I don’t know of any steelies that fit. Tuffant has an alloy wheel that fits as does the Redbourne Alston.

Ahh yes, I recall finding that way back when I was doing research prior to committing to the custom build.

The TuffAnt steelies look nice, but they dont have any info saying that they fit. Will reach out to them.

I reached out to them and they told me their steelies don’t fit, but their alloy wheels with E27 offset do (which are the ones on Lucky8’s Defender).

Ahh darn. Those are the most attractive option I've found.

I've found 20" steel wheels, but that seems silly to me.

These are the Redbourne wheels that fit (with the brake swap). These pics are 20”, but I ordered them in 18”. Supposed to be in late February.

Wow. I have never seen such a wheel geometry. Extremely striking ! I will need to stare at it awhile to gauge how it makes me feel ......
