Replacing Antenna / Roof Camera
I knocked the antenna off my roof in a parking garage a few months ago. Finally got around to getting a quote from the dealer. They wanted $2,800 but most of that was labor (~2/3rds).
Has anyone done this before? How difficult is it to drop the headliner in the back of the vehicle and access the antenna?
Also, anyone have this part number, by chance? Specifically the one with the clearsight camera system?
Thanks all, and apologies if this has already been addressed. I did search FWIW.

It’s not a difficult task. I replaced my antenna when I retrofitted a clearsight mirror. You do not have to drop the entire headliner - only the back. Watch the video from PowerfulUK in Zondar’s post. It is a little fidley but certainly doable. The hardest part for me was disconnecting the cables- those Fakra connectors can be a real pain in the a**. Take your time and you will be able to get them separated. Putting them back is a snap plus they are color coded. You will need: Headliner clip LR091317 Antenna LR140535 Antenna cover LR117853
Tools 10 mm socket and a trim tool to separate the clip. You will need to purchase the clip, it will break when you remove it.
I rate the job about a 2 out of 5 on the difficulty scale. It shouldn’t take you more than an hour or two at the most. Considering the dealership wants $1,800 to do this I’d consider it time well spent.
Good luck!

It's easy to do. I've done it twice, don't ask. The only difficult part is pulling the headliner down far enough to get your hand in there to disconnect the antennas. Once you get that, it's easy. First time it took me about an hour, 2nd was about 20 minutes.
Sorry... missed your question, although I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're asking. There are 6 different wires, most of which appeared to be coaxial. They were all color coordinated (i.e. white connector, white plug; blue connector, blue plug; etc, etc). The green one was very clearly the camera system. No idea on the others.
I finally got around to doing this yesterday. It's a tight squeeze, particularly if you have big hands, but not that hard. It probably took me 45 mins total and I wasn't going fast.
One thing to note, you do not have to disconnect all the plugs first (just the green wire, if you have the camera system). The rest of the plugs will lift out the top once you unscrew the 2 bolts, making it much easier to unplug them all.
