Question Retro fit lumbar support to my 2020 Defender?

Hi friends,I'm wondering if there is a good way to retro fit lumbar support to my 2020 defender base (with fabric seats and no lumbar support)? My back is killing me on longer drives. Not sure if there is any good solution.

Hi, David,
yes you can do this upgrade, I did it and it's also quite simple, as you only have to buy the support with its pump, and the new switch.
the electrical connection is simple, it does not require any new control unit and the power supply is already on the original switch connector.
the support of the defender used is not found, but I saw that the part is the same as that of jaguar e-pace f-pace 4 way.
I am sending you photographs, also of the wiring diagram, and an announcement that has the support you need.
for assembly it is simple, after having removed the lateral plastic cover, you simply identify two zips which, by pulling them up, free the part where you will insert the inflatable cushion behind.
I have only one problem, the switch LR130486 is not found and is not available ... you have to wait for it to be produced ...

I'm glad to have contributed, a tip on the installation.
I carefully removed the clips from the wire mesh, then slid the lumbar support back. it takes a little effort to pass the pump unit between the meshes of the net to position it with the clips to the right of the seat.
the iron mesh of the frame is very hard to disassemble

Did you make a wiring harness from the switch to the pump unit? Did you pur hase the seat harness that includes this wiring?

hello, I made a harness by myself, I bought the 418238 connectors, I inserted them with difficulty in the switch connector, then I stretched them up to the pump and with the same connectors I inserted on the pins, I blocked everything with the hot glue, finally I wrapped all the wiring with the original duct tape.
I tried in every way to understand the specifications of the connector on the pump, but I gave up.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad to know this is possible. Do you know where can I find a full instruction? Just to to gauge the mount of work before ordering parts and everything.
