I did not but I would assume now that more folks have a ‘24 D90 in hand, we might be able to find a willing participant!

The difference is that in the 24 model the back lower seat cushion flips forward allowing the seats to be lowered to creat a flat cargo space. In the 2023 model I'm contemplating purchasing, the seats only lower to about a 30degree akward angle....not lying flat for groceries, pets, etc. I've seen the videos were the seat in pulled out & stored behind the front row, but I'd like a more polished permanent solution. Anyone with a '24 have advice, pics, or a part list?

Has anyone figured this out yet? I would love to retrofit our '23 as well.

I just bought 2023 CPO D90 and I really wanted this. I hope we can figure something out. I surprised PowerfulUK didn't try this yet.

I purchased a 2023 90 Defender not thinking to test if seats fold flat. Last year wile at the dealer, I looked at a 2024 90 Defender to check out the updated seat.
The hinges and cross bar show what our vehicles are missing. Have not been able to identify if possible to add to existing seat. No after market kit that I have identified for a fix

I emailed Simon@powerfuluk. Hope they really make some retrofit kit for existing seat base.

In the meantime, I tried to just remove my seat bottom on D90 to see if it's safe to just remove (easy to remove/install back without damaging any internal connecting area doing multiple times and no seal damage during folding position without seat bottom). These are what I found:

1. Seatbase is connected to with 6 connecting areas (4 just push in slots and 2 with hooks). 4 of them easily pop out by pulling with little bit of force and 2 hooks, just need to be aligned and hooked before push down when installing back. It was pretty easy.

2. Seat back is folding on fully covered strong black foam without touching any of these connecting area (hooks are in lower area below foam) or sharp metal surface so it's safe in fold down position without seat base.

Just be careful if you have heated seats. The wiring must be uncoupled as you remove the seat bench.

I often just remove the seat cushion in my 2023, however I hate that the metal (babyseat?) rings/hooks always make a rather large indent in my leather seat backs. Wonder if the 2024+ folding seats still do the same when folded down...?
