Default Rhino Rack on a new Defender

Hi all,

In researching roof platform options, I stumbled up on Rhino Rack. I love that they have a diverse range of accessories, and it seems their platform offering is quite straightforward. My question is, has anyone successfully married one of their platforms to the new Defender roof rails?

And as an aside, can anyone with the LR roof platform post pictures of how it's affixed to the factory rails? I might try and fabricate something myself if need be.

Thanks!

Have you looked at Frontrunner? A lot of us have that on our roof rails

I have had a look at the front runner.

1- I think it sits too high up
2- I dont find it terribly attractive
3- It costs waaaay to f-ing much for what it is
4- They dont offer the additional accessories that Rhino Rack does.

Excuse me, I was mistaken. The Frontrunner isnt bad, I was thinking of the Expedition rack at 2.3k. The issue with the frontrunner is they're out of stock!

I agree 100% on all of the above. The Rhino Rack is more attractive IMO. Looks like they haven’t made it adaptable to the new Defenders yet.

Except for high cost, the Voyager addresses those issues. Sits several inches closer to the roof than either the LR or Frontrunner. It ain’t cheap though.

Was able to pick up a used Voyager for a RR L322 last week. Quite pleased!

Not at all, it sits nicely above the camera and I have mine covering the camera. The rack becomes a nice umbrella when it is raining or snowing.
