Default Roof Rack

So, I took delivery from LR with OEM rack that was noisey, to say the least.

I removed and had an old rack from my LR3 that I had removed once custom one was complete.

Therefore, (light bulb going off) dig it out of stuff in garage and mount (trial) and it worked!

I test drove over the T day and also had noise though not as bad as OEM.

Solution: I placed the front wind fairing that I never used on the LR3, dam luck I found it.

Result: slight noise at 65 but significantly improved from OEM!

That's a cool setup. More importantly, I am intrigued by your garage/barn/outbuidling. Show us some more pics, you seem to be quite the hobbyist or tinkerer. Love the satin finish on your Defender as well.

Every rack should come with a full fairing. They all make too much noise without one.
